A woman's essence seen as rapture, depth, grace, femininity, and Infinitude.

My relationship with photography began when I started participating in a woman's circle centered on the practice of Watchfulness and Transparency.  I began exploring that which resided in my interior and a call to submission, spirituality and sensuality made their presence known; marking my heart and eyes ---- and the world was forever altered and transformed.

I am influenced by the music of Arvo Part, iconography, vision of silence and reverence on Mount Athos, Russian Orthodoxy, the Russian Empire, ancient ruins, crumbling monasteries and convents, survivors of the Holocaust, the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, Fr. Jeanne Pierre de Caussade's, "Abandonment to Divine Providence" and the poetry of Pablo Neruda.

• Inspiration comes from the soul, prayer, meditation and sensual impressions of the body, heart, and mind.

• A state of longing fills me and I suggest it is in all of Humanity --- but, held in secret recesses.

• Photography is a way to express and capture that which wafts in the Realms near our aura; seen and Unseen...

• The camera, for those who are before it, becomes the trusted Instrument, allowing one to let go, finally.

• Well, at least for moments until obscurity returns and claims...
